Apply for a locum
Need to take a break? The RGPLP provides rural and remote GPs with access to locums and to a subsidy to offset the costs of engaging the locum.
To be eligible to apply for a Rural GP Locum service, you need to be working as a GP in a rural or remote area (RA 2-5 location). To check the RA rural classification of your town, visit www.doctorconnect.gov.au.
Please note that locum availability is limited, with priority given to rural and remote GPs in most need.
